The Associazione Italiana della Rosa was founded in 1963 by Niso Fumagalli. The Association's rose garden is laid out in front of the Villa Reale in Monza. The Trials for new varieties are held here annually.
Visits to other gardens of interest are regularly organized. Publications are the Notiziario, which appears every four months, and the Annuario, which is published at the time of the Trials at the end of May.
