Our Society has approximately 1300 members. There are 13 branches (district societies), located primarily in the western part of the country, but the last, from Bucharest, is in the south east. The headquarters is in Cluj and the branches are in Bucharest, Arad, Aiud, Oradea, Satu Mare, Zalau, Baia Mare, Targu Mures, Sibiu, Vrancea, Bucovina and Barlad (in the east of Romania.) The activities of these branches include pruning demonstrations, rose exhibitions, slide and video presentations about roses in the country and abroad, visits to rose gardens, symposiums, participation in the Annual General Meetings and WFRS Conventions.
The society bulletin, ROSARIUM, is published twice a year. Each issue consists of 16 black and white pages and 4 color cover pages. It also has a short summary in English since the publication is sent to 20 other national Rose Societies with whom we try to exchange publications.
