The functions of ROSA KLUB Slovakia are to create appropriate conditions for the cultivation of roses for its members, to beautify the environment, to organise exhibitions of roses, to develop co-operation and common undertakings with similar specialized organizations at home and abroad, and to organize expert lectures, training courses, and excursions to domestic and foreign rose gardens.
Rosa Klub publishes a member periodical Beauty of Roses and Shapes. It also maintains a library, which incorporates foreign expert rose literature. The goal of the ROSA KLUB Slovakia is the advancement of rose growing. Our activities include:
- lectures
- practical lectures and training
- visits to rose gardens
- rose shows
- excursions
- Beauty of Roses and Shapes - our magazine, which is distributed to our members
The ROSA KLUB has built up a long tradition of rose shows in Zvolen, Dolna Krupa, Dunajska Luzna and in other cities of Slovakia. The all-Slovakian rose shows are usually held in June.
Fees: 2€ per year, 28€ per year foreign
