The Federation of Rose Societies of South Africa was constituted in 1980 from ROSA (Rose Society of South Africa, founded in 1961) and four regional rose societies. Today ROSA is comprised of 9 regional rose societies.
Correspondence should be directed to the Hon. Secretary who will distribute it to the relevant councilors and Societies.
National Conventions are organized every two years by one of the regional societies. A ROSA Annual is published as well as quarterly ROSA News.
The regional rose societies offer rose shows or rose days in spring (October.) Autumn (March/April) rose competitions are held in Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Knysna.
